I believe design
is for everyone.
Embedded in all my work, whether mental health information for youth, or banner artwork for soccer, is an intent to create a space where all can see ourselves and feel we belong.
With over 25 years in the design industry, I have developed a wide range of skills including print production and management, graphic design, layout and typesetting, content creation for social media, and hand-painted artwork.

Creating hype
The “party in the back” is the Banner Factory.
Teaming up with my partner, this project has a focus on supporting an inclusive Canadian soccer community.
Primarily designed in Illustrator, then hand-painted, my banners for The Voyageurs (supporters of the CanMNT and CanWNT/XNT soccer teams) and Toronto FC have popped up all over the place—including the 2022 Men’s World Cup and at Christine Sinclair’s farewell game.
As the Banner Factory, I have also created brand suites for podcasts and vlogs, band posters and more.
To support these projects, we offer t-shirts, stickers and other swag on our “merch table” website, https://bannerfactory.ca/.

Doing good
It’s been an honour and privilege have been selected to join Toronto FC as a supporter representative in the Play Proud project from Common Goal. Working alongside reps from TFC and MLSE Launchpad, I completed over 100 hours of training to support and facilitate diversity, equity and inclusion in North American soccer—with a specific focus on the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
Strictly a volunteer role, “Play Proud Team Toronto” continues to develop the work we started, bringing education and awareness to the stands, the field and their offices.
This project has reinvigorated my commitment to support inclusion in everything I do, creating more welcoming and inclusive community.

What people are saying
“Annie Hart is an experience you don’t want to miss. She’s a fierce fan and her passion for community is infectious. And let’s not forget to mention that sharp sense of humor! We spent many memory filled games together at BMO over the years but I got to know Annie best through our work together on the Play Proud project. We couldn’t have done it without her attention to detail and creativity. Her contributions were priceless and she always brightened the room. I’ll always have time for Annie.”
Justin Morrow,
Head of Sports Programs and Partnerships,

and former Toronto FC Player
“Working with Annie Hart on the Play Proud project has been an absolute joy. Her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across teams were invaluable to our success. Annie is not only a talented professional but also a genuinely good person, and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to work alongside her. I wholeheartedly recommend Annie to anyone looking for a dedicated, passionate, and positive team member.”
Vanessa Leslie,

MLSE (Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership)
“Working with Annie was delightful. She’s a great listener and goes the extra mile to make sure she understands exactly what you’re looking for, and then digs even deeper to surpass your expectations. Her attention to detail really impressed me. While supporting our rebranding, she independently noted our organizations values and went above and beyond to find ways to incorporate them in meaningful ways—like having all of our font’s designed by women. The final product was professional, polished and exactly what we were looking for. I would highly recommend working with Annie.”
Katherine Moore,
Director of Operations & Strategic Initiatives,
Women’s Health Research Cluster
“I had the pleasure of working with Annie in both corporate and arts contexts. She worked with me on the design of two strategic plans for a mental health hospital and she worked with my band on the design of our most recent album artwork and the associated lead single artwork. Across all of these projects Annie struck the perfect balance between professional and fun. She is a joy to work with. The quality of the results speak for themselves.”
